About Dance Wales UK
Dance Wales Uk is one of the most popular and best schools in Swansea, Neath and the whole of South Wales. With its award and competition winning background Dance Wales UK is second to none. We have won several British Cheerleading Association competitions.
For the last two years we have won South Wales IDO hip hop championships and have attended the world championships in several countries. The acrobatics group have won festival for stars local regions and have attended both UK finals. We have also entered other competitions such as Britains Got Talent.
Kerry Kerry Dale started Dancing and Acrobatics at the age of five, she trained in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz at the Grand Theatre Swansea. As a child she performed in several Pantomimes and shows. At the age of Thirteen Kerry won a trip to America she was chosen one of six out of hundreds of hopefuls to go to Rutgers University to learn the basics of Cheerleading and is now a qualified cheerleading coach under the British Cheerleading Association. She also toured Europe as part of an Acrobatic troupe called Acro – Wales competing in Europe – wide competitions, and appeared on T.V on Motor Mouth, Heno, Going Live, But First This, Tribe and Auditioned and Performed for Paul Daniels Magic Show.
Kerry Attended Gorseinon College to gain her B – Tec in Performing Arts then onto Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds and gained her BA , Dance Degree. Living in Leeds she was part of a Dance group in the Tunnel, Appeared in a pop video for Point Break and became head Dancer and Choreographer for Sorted and Love Train at the Town and Country Club, then for Luv Bug and Planet Pop in Middlesbrough and toured Luv Bug around the UK and Switzerland.
In 2002 Kerry landed a place in a touring Musical Company called Timeless Theatre Productions based in Newcastle with productions called Those were the days and Memory Lane, and in May 2003 she performed Acrobatics at the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester with Swamp Circus Theatre for the European Cup Final. In 2004 she returned back to settle down in Neath, After all her experiences in her career she remembered how much fun she had performing as a child and how much she loved it and made her dreams reality. Now fully CRB checked, she wants to let other children have the opportunities to achieve and experience the things she did, and as a dedicated member of Acro – Wales she names her school Dance Wales UK.
Louise Thomas is a qualified cheerleadinstarted dancing at the age of three, she trained at the Grand Theatre Swansea. Louise appeared in many shows and Pantomimes, she was also part af Acro -Wales and toured and entered many European circus festivals. Her TV appearances include Motor Mouth, Heno, Going Live and auditioned and performed for Paul Daniels magic show. As well as Louise’s dance career she is a full time qualified nurse. I am thrilled to have Louise as part of our team.
Emma Curl is fully qualified and CRB checked. Emma is our street and hip hop dance teacher.
Rachel Perkins is our fully qualified and CRB checked Musical theatre teacher.
Janet Hughes is our voluntary administrator and most importantly Louise’s and my mum. She supported us and toured with us all over Europe, and is still supporting me now with my school. I’m forever thankful and couldn’t be without her
